The Burn Zone: A Memoir is the story of my search for Truth in a Buddhist cult, my struggle to forgive, and my ultimate freedom on the other side of "deranged and damaged." Not only is it a crazy, page-turning, jaw-dropping cult story, but in a wild way it's everybody's story--the ways we betray ourselves trying to be who the world tells us to be, and the soul-sickness caused by not being true to ourselves. I realized that sharing my story could and would help others. It could help release people from the chains that bind them to facades they no longer need, encourage them to accept themselves and let go of their past, inspire them to step into their wholeness, help them forgive and heal, and ultimately embrace life with more excitement and a truer sense of Self.

I expose all my dirty laundry in this book! From love affairs with men half my age, to being rescued by angels, getting stranded at 22,000 feet in the Himalayas and being electrocuted in the Maldives, picking up the pieces after being shattered, and hilarious attempts to regain my mojo--of course adding all the wisdom I gained along the way.
